Lee Dong Hwi spoke about his closeness with Im Ji Yeon and lauded the actress for her top-notch performance in The Glory.
The versatile actor shared his online interaction with the actress during his appearance with the media ahead of his drama Big Bet Season 2.
Lee Dong Hwi Reveals Why He is ‘Scared’ of The Glory Star Im Ji Yeon
Lee Dong Hwi made headlines after he left a funny comment on Im Ji Yeon’s Instagram.
The Reply 1988 star commented “Yeonjin” which was the actress’ character in the Netflix revenge series, The Glory.
Im Ji Yeon replied saying “Jungpal” which is Lee Dong Hwi’s character in Big Bet.
During the interview, Lee Dong Hwi explained a funny story about why he commented on her The Glory character.
"I always want to post an overly fanatic comment (regarding 'The Glory') every time Lim Jiyeon posts,” he said, as obtained by a media outlet, adding “but I'm refraining myself because I think it's too stupid."
On the other hand, he went to praise the actress and mentioned how he was moved by her antagonist role.
"I enjoyed The Glory so much,” he said, adding that they have been friends for a long time and “still find her acting incredible.”

Moreover, Lee Dong Hwi also revealed the effect of Park Yeon Jin on viewers and how scary her character is.
He even joked about his reaction if ever he’ll meet her again in person.
"She expressed her character so intensely that I became scared, and because I was so immersed in the drama, I'm now scared to meet her in person," the versatile star said, causing laughter among the audience.
Im Ji Yeon Returns as Park Yeon Jin in The Glory Season 2
Im Ji Yeon took on the antagonist role in The Glory after appraising in the hit K-drama Money Heist Korea.
Playing the role of Park Yeon Jin, she is among the bullies of Moon Dong Eun, played by Song Hye Kyo, who used to harass her during high school.
Because of this Dong Eun dropped out of school and gave up her dream to become an architect.
Little did Park Yeon Jin and the other bullies know that she will return with a vengeance and make them pay for what they did to her.
Interestingly, Im Ji Yeon will reprise her role in The Glory Season 2 airing on March 10.
