Leaked Book Cover for Star Wars Resistance Gives Us Good Look at New Characters

Whether you love or hate the trailer, Star Wars Resistance is coming, and the show will introduce to us a bunch of new characters along with some familiar faces. Thanks to Jedi-Bibliothek, we get a good look at the crew via a leaked book cover.

The character at the front and center is new protagonist named Kazuda Xiono, and behind him on the left is none other than Poe Dameron. We don't know who the other characters behind him are yet, but the species are definitely familiar; the last guy on the left is a Rodian, while the one of the right is of the Kel Dor species.

Early reactions to the trailer have not been doing well, as some think that Lucasfilm would have done a better job with the animation. Then again, the show is primarily aimed at kids, and I can imagine that the children will love the show as long as it has a fun story with great characters.

Here's the official synopsis for Star Wars Resistance:

Resistance fighter Poe Dameron tasks young pilot Kazuda "Kaz" Xiono with spying on the First Order. At the time, little was known about the secretive organization and its strength.

In order to fulfill his mission, Kaz travels to the space station Colossus, which is being used by many ships as a port to refuel and do repairs. However, there are also dangerous races taking place there. After Kaz bragged with his piloting skills at his arrival there, he is soon drawn into one of the races...

Star Wars Resistance comes to Disney Channel on Oct. 7.
