Christopher Nolan's Tenet is set to debut internationally on August 26 and will be released in the U.S. on September 3. Audiences in China will follow shortly after, with the director himself sharing a message expressing his excitement for the people to see it.

A new preview for Chinese audiences recently surfaced on social media showing Nolan giving an introduction to his upcoming film. The promo offers some exciting new footage teasing the time inversion premise of the story.

Though the preview doesn't offer much of the plot beyond that, an interesting part of the promo is a female character voiceover saying, "You are inverted. The world is not," a line that provides more questions than answers.

Aside from the new clips, Nolan pointed out in the preview that Tenet was made for the big screen while also sharing how excited he is for people in China to see it on September 4th. You can check it out below!

Starring John David Washington and Robert Pattinson, Tenet will be the first major new Hollywood title release in China. The movie synopsis is as follows:

Armed with only one word – Tenet – and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time. Not time travel. Inversion.

Tenet opens internationally on August 26th and will be released in the U.S. on September 3rd.
