It looks like it wasn't all too easy for Kylo Ren to transition from a Jedi trainee to a member and then the leader of the Knights of Ren.
Lucasfilm just recently released preview images for Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren #4 on the official Star Wars website, and in the preview fans get to see Kylo Ren finding himself stunned by the brutality of the Knights of Ren.
In the first few pages of the fourth issue of Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren, Kylo finds himself fighting alongside Ren and his Knights. The wayward son of Han Solo and Leia is stunned as Ren and the Knights mercilessly cut through guards limb by limb with their red lightsabers.
"But, Ren... you said you would... release them," Kylo says in shock as he watches the Knights slice through the guards.
"The Knights of Ren do as they please, which lends them fluidity. Whatever they need to do to survive to triumph... they will do," Ren tells Snoke's young apprentice.
Ren then orders his team to chop down the miners who try to defend themselves. He instructs Kylo to get down with them and join the killing, telling the apprentice that he's running out of time to prove himself to Snoke. This new comic issue makes it clear that even in the early days of Kylo Ren's journey down the Dark Side, the wayward Ben Solo struggles with his inner light.
Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren #4 is set for release on March 11, 2020.
