Kylo Ren Star Adam Driver Threw Up at the Star Wars Premiere

Star Wars fans might be eager to see every Star Wars film set to release, but Kylo Ren star Adam Driver actually threw up right before the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Speaking in an interview for a profile with The New Yorker, Driver revealed that he had sworn off seeing movies because he found that he "hated what he did" in a Coen brothers film titled Inside Llewyn Davis. The actor then revealed his reaction when he attended the premiere for The Force Awakens, saying that he started hyperventilating when the film came up.

"I just went totally cold," Driver said in the interview with the publication, "I knew the scene was coming up where I had to kill Han Solo, and people were, like, hyperventilating when the title came up, and I felt like I had to puke."

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has yet to premiere so we don't know how Driver would react to the film yet, but the actor might feel the same way seeing how important the film is going to be. Not only is Episode IX going to close Lucasfilm's Star Wars sequel trilogy, but it's also going to put an end to the Skywalker saga.

Driver didn't really talk that much about Kylo Ren's arc in Episode IX, though he did describe the wayward son of Han Solo (Adam Driver) and Leia (Carrie Fisher) as a character who can be "conceived as being committed to this religion above all else, above family."

Kylo Ren may have committed to the Dark Side of the Force in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but fans are hoping to see the character redeemed in Episode IX.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres December 20, 2019.
