Kuroko no Basuke Inspires Reebok Line of Running Shoes

If you want to go running and want to do it in the same color-coded style as the Generation of Miracles (and Kagami), then Reebok Japan has just the thing.

The footwear company has announced the customized line of running shoes inspired by the seven main faces of Kuroko no Basuke. In a press release (translated via Crunchyroll), each of the model for the running shoes share the same design. They vary only in the color inspirations that each of the characters are assigned.

As expected, Tetsuya Kuroko's is the light signature light blue shade. Taiga Kagami's looks almost like the shoes that he wore in the anime, the red and black a little less loud in design compared to the anime version. Keeping the soles white has a very Kagami feel to it.

The Generation of Miracles' models correspond to their respective colors: Ryota Kise's is yellow, Shintaro Midorima's is green, Atsushi Murasakibara's is purple, and Seijuro Akashi's is red. Daiki Aomine's model still has the dark blue streak that alludes to his name, but it has a similar look as Kagami's with a predominantly black color, including the soles.

Kuroko's model looks the cleanest, while Aomine's model looks the most badass (are we really surprised?). I'm personally digging Murasakibara's model, though a darker shade of purple would've done the trick nicely.

The design was based on the ZPump Fusion 2.0 series. Reebok Japan will release the line on March 2017, but Bandai's official online store has already started receiving preorders. The first wave lasts until Nov. 24, and will come with a tin badge featuring the shoes' respective character. There's a second wave of preorders from Dec. 17 to Jan. 5, which will be bundled with a mini acryl charm.

Each Kuroko no Basuke pair of shoes costs 19,429 yen (approx. $184).
