Krysten Ritter Will Reportedly Return as Jessica Jones in an Upcoming MCU Project

When Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio made their return in recent MCU projects reprising their roles from the Netflix Marvel shows, a lot of fans are wondering if other characters in that universe will also follow suit and step into the MCU soon. While we haven't heard any official confirmation or comments from Marvel, a new report has now emerged which suggests another actor from the Netflix shows will be making their jump to the MCU.

ScreenGeek has reported that Krysten Ritter is set to make her return as Jessica Jones in an upcoming MCU project although they didn't provide any more details regarding what project is she going to appear in. We do have to take note that this hasn't been confirmed yet by Marvel nor reported by the major trades so we have to take it with a grain of salt for now.

Considering that Cox and D'Onofrio were able to make their MCU appearance just recently, it is not crazy to think that Ritter will follow suit and play Jessica Jones again, especially since the character was also well-received by fans on her former Netflix show just like Matt Murdock and Kingpin. It would be curious to see if Marvel will also consider Luke Cage and Iron Fist in that company soon.

While the details regarding her reported return are still scarce, the safe guess right now is that her appearance will be in an upcoming MCU series just like D'Onofrio in Hawkeye as well as Cox who is rumored to appear again in She-Hulk and Echo and set to star in a new Daredevil series which was recently confirmed to be in development.

We will find out soon enough whether this report is true or if Marvel will do any confirmation about Ritter's return as Jessica Joon in the MCU. Either way, fans are definitely excited about the possibility since we can also see her reunite with her fellow Defenders.
