While some K-drama stars are starring in multiple projects, others have chosen to take the plunge and venture into business, such as establishing their own entertainment agencies.

With the top tier labels such as Management S.O.O.P., Namoo Actors, Gold Medalist, King Kong by Starship, and more representing some of the biggest names in Hallyu, their K-drama stars are also C.E.O.s of their own by putting up their talent management.

Lee Je Hoon

The Taxi Driver star is the latest Korean celebrity who launch his

own one-man agency,

In June 2021, he announced that he had officially set up a talent agency called COMPANY ON, pronounced similar to the word "companion," which means a place where people of the same interest would come together.

As cited by Soompi, Lee Je Hoon's dream was to create an agency, but he will also continue to work as an actor.

Aside from COMPANY ON, the 37-year-old also is also a co-founder of a production company, Hardcut Co.

Rain

The singer-actor is not just a real estate mogul but also the C.E.O. of not just one but two entertainment labels.

Rain owns J. Tune Entertainment which he established in 2007, and R.A.I.N. Company in 2016. It is the current home of the K-pop group C.I.P.H.E.R., Oh Ye Ju, and the Hallyu star himself.

Lee Seung Gi

After 17 years with Hook Entertainment, Lee Seung Gi left the agency and started his one-man agency, Human Made, in June 2021.

At the time, a local outlet shared the official statement from his former agency, confirming that his contract with the label had already expired.

Despite promoting independently, Hook Entertainment promised that the management would "maintain a partnership with him after his independence."

Lee Jong Suk

Like Rain the real estate mogul has also put up his entertainment agency, which he called A-MAN Project.

In 2018 the management initially partnered with Y.N.K. Entertainment to oversee the actor's activities but cut short after six months.

A year later, his younger brother reportedly stepped in as the executive director after Sukki resigned from the post.

Apart from the actor, the A-MAN project also includes Kwon Nara and Seo Eun Dpp as their talents.

Hyun Bin

In 2012, the Hallyu star launched a talent agency together with the equally famous Shin Min Ha, calling it O& Entertainment.

Four years later, he set up a new agency and "teamed up with his mentor C.E.O. Kang Kun Taek for VAST Entertainment.

Now, Hyun Bin is not the only actor under the label, as the team also welcomed Start-Up actress Stephanie Lee, Lee Yeon Hee, and more.

Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jae

In 2016, celebrity best friends Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jaeco-founded Artist Company, which is also the home of Go Ara, Esom, and All of Us Are Dead star, Cho Yi Hyun.

Unfortunately, he resigned from his position as the CEO to focus more on his acting career.

He was replaced by Kim Byung Sun, the new CEO.
