Can't get enough of KonoSuba? Well now, you'll be able to play a KonoSuba game on your phone real soon!
Anime News Network has just reported that Nexon will be releasing the Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! Fantastic Days smartphone RPG globally, except in the following countries: Japan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. The game was already released in Japan last February 2020.
KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Fantastic Days will be released on August 19, 2021. It will be available on both iOS and Android. Nexon will be hosting a virtual showcase on their YouTube channel alongside the game's release. During the Japan release, the game's opening video was uploaded. You can watch it here:
Aside from being fully voiced, the game will also have its own storyline. Users are going to be able to live through their own KonoSuba adventures since the game's features include engaging in combat and forming parties. Yes, the main characters are included in the party selection of 19 characters!
Pre-registration is currently ongoing. Pre-registered users will be able to claim in-game rewards once the game has been released.

KonoSuba is a fantasy comedy light novel series created in 2013 by Natsume Akatsuki. It also has a manga adaptation and spin-offs. In 2016, the first season of the anime adaptation was released by Studio Deen while the second season followed in 2017. In 2019, J.C. Staff released a movie adaptation of the fifth volume of the light novel, titled KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Legend of Crimson.
The official KonoSuba Twitter account announced last month that new content is coming our way. While they didn't say what type of production they were working on, many fans are hoping that it's Season 3.
