It has been a while since we got a new Silent Hill title. However, it looks like we might be getting some good news in just a few days. There are speculations that Kojima Productions has been teasing a possible new Silent Hill game is already in the works.
The speculations started when the official Kojima Productions Twitter account posted an image of Head of Communications Aki Saito, who was reportedly being quiet for a long time. Take a look at the tweet below.
It doesn't look like there's much happening here. However, people zeroed in on Saito's caption, "Sorry to be silent everyone! I've been really busy lately.....I think i can say more soon about what we are going to....."
We're not sure what that means but you can't just use the word "silent" when you're connected to Kojima Productions because that tends to freak people out, man. Fans have also pored over the image and noticed that Saito wrote the words "Next week!" and is using a Pyramid brand pencil. All these "clues" have led to theories that a new Silent Hill game is coming.
This might sound exciting but it's important to remember that Konami is still the franchise's publisher and they still aren't in good terms with Kojima Productions. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.
