It looks like we're getting more of Eggsy and Harry Hart soon. The third Kingsman film has just been confirmed for a 2019 release date.

The announcement was made by Exhibitor Relations on their official Twitter account. The post also confirmed that Matthew Vaughn is still attached to write the screenplay and direct the sequel.

Vaughn directed the first two Kingsman films so his involvement is certainly a welcome one. However, it is still unclear if Taron Egerton and Colin Firth will reprise their roles as Eggsy and Harry.

20th Century Fox has not yet made an official announcement about the sequel. Nevertheless, fans couldn't help but speculate on what will happen in Kingsman 3. There are rumors that Mark Strong's Merlin will be resurrected after his unfortunate death in The Golden Circle. Others yet believe that Channing Tatum will be back since his character Tequila had joined Kingsman. Perhaps the sequel will introduce yet another version of Kingsman in a different country. The possibilities are endless.

Kingsman 3 might be cool for most fans but I'm hoping that the third film will have a less fantastical approach in resurrecting certain characters. Although it was great to see Firth back in action, Harry's return was somehow absurd. Nevertheless, we're looking forward to what Vaughn will think of next.

The Golden Circle also starred Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, Jeff Bridges, and Elton John. It is still unclear if these actors will also be brought back for Kingsman 3.

Kingsman 3 is scheduled for release on November 8, 2019.
