Kingdom Sequel The Crown Prince Confirmed After Ashin of the North Release

We have just learned about the origins of the Joseon era zombies in Kingdom: Ashin of the North but it looks like the South Korean horror series already has its sequel in the works. The new spin-off for the Netflix series is set to explore the story of Crown Prince Lee Chang.

Kingdom has turned out to be one of the most successful horror shows on Netflix. After two seasons, the series got a special episode titled Ashin of the North, which followed the mysterious woman who appeared in the Season 2 finale.

Not surprisingly, Kingdom will be moving forward with yet another spin-off. Several outlets have reported that the new project will be titled Kingdom: The Crown Prince and will star Ju Ji Hoon, who played Prince Lee Chang in the first two seasons. In addition to that, The Outlaws director Kang Yoon Sung will helm the project.

Kingdom: The Crown Prince is expected to be a sequel to the second season and will reveal what Lee Chang has been doing after defecting the throne to his baby brother. It has not yet been confirmed whether Ju's co-stars Bae Doona and Kim Sung Kyu will appear in the spin-off.
