Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMIND DLC Announced, Includes New Story Scenario, Secret Episode, and Bosses

Most fans were quite pleased when Kingdom Hearts 3 got its Critical Mode difficulty setting last week, making the game much harder than it once was. Most fans felt that the game was too easy, even in Proud Mode (which is supposed to be Hard), so Critical Mode has been a nice change of pace. Well, if that wasn't enough to satisfy fans, co-director Tetsuya Nomura announced the first paid DLC for the game.

According to those that attended the Kingdom Hearts orchestra concert, Nomura made a surprise appearance and announced the paid Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC. The DLC project is a new scenario called ReMind, which will feature its own bosses, secret bosses, and a secret episode. There will also be limited-time episodes and bosses for players to take on, which should be cool.

There are also plans for some free DLC, which will add a new Keyblade and a form for the weapon. Some fans are speculating that they will be making the pre-order Keyblades free but that has not been confirmed.

No release date or price was announced, though Nomura did state in previous interviews that he wanted the DLC to be released later this year. Only time will tell if this happens but it would make a lot of fans happy. Fans are also hoping more content is added, including a tournament ala Olympus Coliseum from previous games.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
