King Charles is expected to lead the royal family in their holiday festivities now that Queen Elizabeth is no longer around. He recently invited Sarah Ferguson to join the British clan in Sandringham, and she’s expected to be there. However, two members of the royal family that wouldn’t attend are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Will Decline King Charles’ Christmas Invitation?

According to royal biographer Robert Jobson, King Charles has yet to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over for the holidays. But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will most likely decline the monarch’s invitation. After all, everyone’s still feeling the pressures of Prince Harry’s memoir and the couple’s Netflix docuseries.

Jobson also revealed that King Charles may have just shown the public what Christmas is all about when he invited Prince Andrew’s ex-wife to join the royal family in Sandringham this year. And if it were only up to him, he would want the same thing to happen with Prince Harry and Markle.

“Charles has tried to forgive them — he would love to be able to end the friction — but contact with them has been limited. He did extend an olive branch when they came over just before the Queen died. They turned up late for the meeting and the King was only there for a short while. [Charles] has been pushed to his very limit with the Sussexes — and the specter of the couple’s Netflix series and Harry’s forthcoming book are still hanging over the Royal Family,” Jobson wrote for The Sun.

Queen Consort Camilla’s Daughter Will Join The Royal Family In Sandringham This Christmas?

But even if Prince Harry and Markle wouldn’t be in Sandringham with the royal family, the clan will still have other guests. The royal biographer claimed that Queen Consort Camilla’s daughter Laura Lopes would be joining the royal family for the first time.

Lopes will also be accompanied by her husband, Harry, and their three children, Eliza, Gus, and Louis.

Since Fergie has also been invited, this means that Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie will stay in Sandringham over the holidays. The royal sisters will also be accompanied by their spouses and children to the celebration.
