King Charles Sarcastically Told Princess Diana He’s Gay, That’s Why He Didn’t Want To Sleep With Her?

In the book The King: The Life of Charles III, royal author Christopher Andersen claimed that King Charles and Princess Diana once had an argument over their lack of intimate moments.

The mom of two allegedly confronted King Charles and asked why he didn’t want to sleep with her anymore. The monarch’s response was reportedly unexpected.

“I don’t know, dear. I think I might be gay,” King Charles allegedly said, per Anderson (via Page Six).

King Charles Gay Rumors Resurfaced After Queen Elizabeth’s Death

As of writing, there’s no proof that King Charles was gay. But this rumor never left his side. Two months ago, Radar Online claimed that the rumors surrounding King Charles’ sexuality have plagued the royal family for years.

“Rumors that Charles might be gay or bisexual have plagued the Royal family for years, ever since his marriage to Diana hit the rocks,” the publication said.

King Charles’ former palace valet George Smith claimed that he caught the monarch in a compromising position with a male aide. Smith also made some strong claims against the male aide.

“Mr. Smith claimed the aide raped him in 1989 and later tried to assault him again while they were accompanying the Prince of Wales on a tour to Cairo,” a source said.

Royal author Nicholas Davies seemingly added fuel to the fire when he said that Princess Diana also had doubts regarding King Charles’ sexuality.

But Andersen stressed in his book that King Charles just didn’t want to be intimate with Princess Diana anymore that’s why he said what he said.

“[King Charles] had for all intents and purposes unilaterally called a halt to their sexual relationship,” Andersen wrote.

Princess Diana Cursed At King Charles During One Of Their Fights, Royal Author Claims

The royal author also detailed some of King Charles and Princess Diana’s other fights in his book. On one occasion, the monarch urged Princess Diana to treat him with respect because of his position in the royal family.

But when he asked the late royal who she thought he was, the then-Princess of Wales cursed at him and called him an animal.

“You will never be king. William will succeed your mother. I will see to that,” Princess Diana allegedly said.

As of writing, King Charles has not confirmed or denied the claims made in Andersen’s book.
