Netflix is gearing up for the release of The Crown Season 5 on Nov. 9. And with just a few days away, some royal fans and avid supporters of the show are already excited to see how the dramatized versions of certain royal events will be shown by the streaming platform.

However, not everyone is looking forward to seeing the new episodes of The Crown Season 5, especially since it will feature Princess Diana's final moments. Even though the death of Prince William and Prince Harry's mom wouldn't be shown in the series, the late royal's psychic friend still has some concerns.

Princess Diana's Friend Thinks The Crown Season 5 Will Have A Negative Impact On Prince William, Prince Harry

While speaking with The Sun, Simone Simmons said that seeing these scenes on Netflix will bring about negative emotions for Prince William and Prince Harry.

"These are cruel, sadistic, and wicked people to recreate these moments. They are the lowest of the low. They are rewriting history as they go along and that's what makes me very angry. Netflix is deliberately reviving the most painful time in the boys' lives. It's forcing them to relive the pain, agony, and psychological torment they suffered when their mother died. I think it's disgusting and sick. Why are they setting out to upset William and Harry?" she said.

Simmons also accused the people behind The Crown of not caring about Prince William and everything that he's been through since his mom's passing.

"The makers of this program do not care about the heir to the throne and everything he has been through. Why do these callous, insensitive people feel the need to recreate that horrible day? They are going out of their way to hurt the Royal Family," she said.

Queen Mother's Former Biographer Calls The Crown Writer Peter Morgan 'Vile'

William Shawcross, the official biographer of the late Queen Mother, echoed Simmons' sentiments. He called the series writer vile for pushing through with their plans to air Princess Diana's fictionalized funeral scene so close to Queen Elizabeth's death in real life.

"Nothing is sacred to [the writer of The Crown] Peter Morgan. This is a vile series that lies to the public and has been incredibly hurtful to the Royal Family from the Queen and our new King down. Unlike any other family, they cannot sue," he said (via Cosmopolitan).

Royal Author Angela Levin Criticizes The Crown

Royal author Angela Levin called Netflix's decision to include Princess Diana's funeral inhuman.

"It's inhuman, beyond any sense of decency, and hurtful. When I first went to interview Harry, he asked if I had seen The Crown, which at the time was on Series 2. I said no and he said, 'Oh you must watch it. My only problem is they've got to stop before they get to me,'" she said.

However, The Crown Season 5 star Elizabeth Debicki assured viewers that Princess Diana's funeral was handled with real sensitivity.
