Amid his popularity, Kim Woo Seok recently took the spotlight after penning an apology letter for his actions toward his pets.
He has since pledged to learn more about his dogs and cats to take care of them properly.
But recently, the UP10TION member found himself in hot water again due to malicious comments that were spread online.
TOP Media Files Criminal Complaints Against People Who Defamed Kim Woo Seok
On Tuesday, TOP Media addressed the issues through an official statement.
It first took its time to thank fans who have been loving and supporting Kim Woo Seok.
Unfortunately, the negative posts about the K-pop idol outshined his projects as they attacked and defamed him continuously. As a result, the company filed legal actions against online users.

“We have therefore filed a criminal complaint with the Gangnam Police Cyber Investigation unit against the creators of such malicious posts for violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection,” TOP Media said.
The agency said it would continue to protect Kim Woo Seok’s rights through monitoring. It also warned about the strong legal action if the issues persist.
Kim Woo Seok Criticized For Allegedly Abusing Pets
Before TOP Media shared the post, the K-pop star faced the public’s rage as he committed alarming actions toward his pets.
One of the incidents involved his Pomeranian. The idol was seen grabbing his dog by its front paws despite the fact that the dog breed is known for having weak joints.
Some users also discovered that Kim Woo Seok’s manager is the one who takes care of his dogs especially grooming and cleaning them.
They became more concerned after before and after photos of his dog seemingly showed his recklessness in handling his pets. The photos in question featured the Pomeranian looking well-groomed, while the other showed the dog’s fur looking less fluffy.
