Kim Seo Hyung will star in a new family drama series amid the surge of projects in her career.

In 1994, Kim Seo Hyung started a triumphant career by appearing in several films and series. She already starred in 20 films and 26 series, including Kiss Me Much, The City of Violence, Forbidden Floor, A Barefoot Dream, Desire To Kill, Late Spring, Lovers in Paris, Green Rose, Giant, Empress Ki, Assembly, The Great Seducer, and Nobody Knows.

Among her flicks, she became well-known for her revenge drama, Temptation of Wife.

For this year, she has been tapped to star in a new family drama project her fans will truly love!

Kim Seo Hyung To Play Lead Role in Thriller Drama, Paper Moon

On Thursday, Kim Seo Hyung’s agency, KeyEast Entertainment, revealed that the actress is gearing up to appear in the upcoming KT Seezn’s original series, Paper Moon.

The drama, which is based on a Japanese novel of the same name by Mitsuyo Kakuta, was already adapted into a movie and drama in Japan. Both adaptations received critical responses from the viewers.

It follows the story of a woman named Yoo Yi Hwa who manages to have a comfortable life not until she embezzles her clients’ money while serving as a contract employee at a bank. She starts to get tangled in her own wrongdoing as her husband shows no interest in her.

Kim Seo Hyung landed on the role, and the team is expected to begin the production this year.

Kim Seo Hyung Leaves New Impression After Playing Lesbian Role in Mine

Before scoring her recent role, the South Korean actress starred in Mine and played Jung Seo Hyun’s role. Her character is married to Park Hyuk Kwon’s Han Jin Ho, but she eventually falls in love with another woman.

After playing the lesbian role, she gained more approval from fans and got praised for her flexibility in the industry.

She revealed in the interview that she chose the drama, not because of its sexual minorities but because it was a story about love.

“Her background is also quite different from mine. Every actor aspires to play a cool role like this. When I thought about playing this kind of character in the past, I always believed that I could do it comfortably. That’s why I chose this project,” she said.

Kim Seo Hyung might show more of her sides in her new drama.
