Kim Sae Ron bravely faced the public after the DUI incident and personally apologized to those affected by her actions.
On May 18, Kim Sae Ron got involved in a DUI incident and damaged public property in Gangnam. She reportedly hit roadside structures thrice and caused a power outage in the area that caused the businesses to halt their operations.
Although she had already released a handwritten apology, Kim Sae Ron took her chance to personally say her sorry to the people affected by her reckless driving.

Kim Sae Ron Apologizes to Businesses; Compensates Them Due to Damages
YTN confirmed on June 24 that the actress personally visited the area and apologized to the people after her DUI incident.
The report disclosed that she covered most of the financial obligations after causing wreckage to several properties, including the electric transformer. Kim Sae Ron, unfortunately, caused them to halt their operations for hours until the repair work restored the power again.

Her visit came after her agency, GOLD MEDALIST Entertainment, assured the public that the actress would cooperate with police investigations while planning on how she would compensate for the damages she caused.
“On June 4, Kim Sae Ron diligently completed [cooperating] with police investigations into her charges of drunk driving and measures not taken after the accident, and it was confirmed through her blood test results that her blood alcohol content was approximately 0.2 percent, a level high enough for her driver’s license to be revoked,” the agency said.
What Was Kim Sae Ron’s Blood Alcohol Level?
Initial reports claimed that her blood alcohol level on the day of the incident exceeded 0.08 percent. It was more than enough to have the authorities revoke her license.
The Korea Road Traffic Authority explains that a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or more can lead to the revocation of a person’s driver’s license.
“Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) is a measure of alcohol in the blood as a percentage. It is calculated in grams per 100 mL of blood, so a BAC of 0.08 means your blood is 0.08% alcohol by volume,” the University of Toledo website says.
However, the agency later revealed that her blood alcohol level was approximately 0.2 percent.
Kim Sae Ron has not opened up about her future projects yet.
