Kanye West has been dropping clues that he wants to get back together with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
During a recent interview, he revealed that his four children want their parents to be together. And during one of his live performances, the rapper surprisingly said that he hopes Kardashian will take him back.
However, all of West’s pleas have fallen on deaf ears because Kim Kardashian is happily dating her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson. West, on the other hand, reportedly broke up with his model ex-girlfriend after realizing that he still has feelings for the reality TV star.
Kanye West Showers Kim Kardashian With Expensive Gifts
National Enquirer, in its Jan. 3 issue, claimed that West is doing everything that he can to win Kardashian back.
“He started out with a hardball approach but when that didn’t work and Kim made it clear she still wanted an amicable divorce, he tried the opposite,” the unnamed source said.
West allegedly started his attempts to win back his ex-wife by giving Kardashian jewelry, cars, and cash. He even offered to put their Hidden Hills mansion that’s worth $60 million under the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s name.
“He’s got it in his head that money’s the way to Kim’s heart – and that’s partially right. But she’s also looking to escape Kanye’s control-freak ways – not to mention his flabby bod is a major turn-off. Kanye’s convinced that with enough money he can change her mind, but the odds of that are slim to none since she’s been enjoying the singles scene with Saturday Night Live comic, Pete Davidson,” the unnamed source said.
Kim Kardashian Wants Kanye West To Leave Her Alone
But what West doesn’t know is that Kardashian wants nothing to do with him.
“Kim’s more than ready to be free of Kanye and all of his drama. And as far as she’s concerned, she deserves every dollar he’s giving her as payback for the hell he’s put her through,” the unnamed source concluded.
There are some indications that West is still obsessed with his ex-wife.
Kanye West, Kim Kardashian Are Neighbors
According to People, the rapper recently purchased a property right in front of Kardashian’s home. However, it’s because he wants to be with his four children as much as possible.
The publication revealed that the property purchased the property for $4.5 million, which is $400,000 more than the original price that it was listed for.
“Kanye's new house is a teardown. He only bought it for the location. It's near Kim and the kids. He has a vision for the house and plans on starting construction ASAP. It will be family-friendly. He wants to be able to have the kids over as much as possible. Living only in Malibu was making visits more tricky for Kanye,” a source said.
But even if West will now live close to Kardashian, there’s no proof that he’s been going through great lengths to be with his ex-wife.
West doesn’t also need to shower Kardashian with expensive gifts while he’s trying to reconcile with her because the reality TV star can afford everything.

As for Kardashian and Davidson’s relationship, it’s reportedly getting stronger and stronger. In fact, the mom of four is so into Davidson.
“Kim is so into him. Kim and Pete are both really cuddly and affectionate with each other,” a source said.
