Kim Kardashian will be making her official TV acting debut in the upcoming American Horror Story Season 12. The reality star will join Ryan Murphy’s long-running horror anthology in a role specifically made for her.
According to reports, Kardashian has already signed to star in American Horror Story Season 12, joining Murphy’s often collaborator Emma Roberts. So, here’s everything you need to know about the outing and the upcoming new season.
Kim Kardashian Joins American Horror Story Season 12
Murphy confirmed the reality star’s appearance in the new season of the FX anthology series.
“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” he said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture,” he continued. “Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish, and ultimately terrifying role, especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
How Does Kim Kardashian Land an American Horror Story Role?
According to THR, Kardashian and Murphy are friends, and the latter was impressed with her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live in 2021.
From there, they started talking about making a “unique role for her scripted TV debut” last summer. In fact, that mysterious role was “specifically written with her in mind.”

Kanye West’s ex-wife herself has confirmed her involvement in American Horror Story Season 12 in a post on Instagram.
American Horror Story Season 12 Plot and Release Date
American Horror Story Season 12 reportedly has the title Delicate and will be based on a book by Danielle Valentine titled Delicate Condition, which will be out in August.
This will be the first time that the series will have source material. The novel is described as a “gripping thriller” about a woman who is strongly convinced that a sinister figure is doing everything possible to ensure her pregnancy will never happen.
A cover blurb from author Andrew Bartz also described the book as “the feminist update to Rosemary’s Baby we all needed.”
According to People, the 12th season is expected to be out in the summer this year, and Murphy and Fix will likely announce its official release date in June.
