The Song Hye Kyo-led K-drama started 2023 with a bang as viewers were deeply drawn to the powerful storyline, amazing cast lineup, and the Hallyu queen’s spectacular acting.
Prior to the series’ premiere, The Glory gained attention after it was confirmed that Song Hye Kyo will lead the drama with speculations that the actress will once again receive criticisms regarding her acting.

In a report cited by AllKpop, an online community post cited that the screenwriter gets paid more than 100 million KRW or 81,000 USD per episode manuscript.
While her initial salary as a writer in 2016 was around 30 million won or 26,000 USD per episode for her current work Descendants of the Sun.
It is safe to say that Kim Eun Sook earned around 129,600 USD for the 16-part episode of The Glory.
