After enormous success with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it looks like Disney is willing to give Kevin Feige even more power as the company has now given him the title of Chief Creative Officer. Sure, he might already be the head of Marvel Studios but this means that but Feige will now get a say when it comes to creative ideas for Marvel television, animation, and yes, even comic books.

Deadline confirmed the move, claiming that all of the company's key creative executives will soon answer to him. Feige himself is still under the orders of Marvel president Dan Buckley, who is under chairman Ike Perlmutter. While Feige doesn't have all the power, he does have a lot of it and it's going to be interesting to see how things change now that he has even more control.

Right now, it's too early to say if things will be drastically different or if this is just a fancy way of saying Feige will be making more money. Still, his input in Marvel television could make these shows more important in the long run. After all, most of the movies have ignored everything that has happened in the shows thus far.

The real question is how Feige will affect Marvel comics. Considering how creative the comics of today are, with Immortal Hulk and Venom giving us some incredible stories, here's hoping that he doesn't revert everything into something recognizable for casual fans. Marvel already does all that by itself anyway.
