Ryan Gosling has made it perfectly clear that he wants to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Canadian actor and star of Netflix's latest action flick The Gray Man is the latest actor to express his interest in joining the billion-dollar franchise and unsurprisingly, he already has a role in mind.
Gosling, who recently dismissed any involvement in the rumored Nova project recently said in an interview that he wants to become Earth-616's Johnny Blaze aka Ghost Rider. He even spoke to the Russo Brothers about his desire, hoping it'll help get his foot on the door.
Well, the timing couldn't have been more perfect as Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige is now sounding off on the possibility of Gosling playing the hell-blazing hero. Speaking with MTV News correspondent Josh Horowitz after the studio's monumental panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Feige learned about Gosling's desire to play Ghost Rider in the franchise and it turns out that he's on board with the idea.
He said: "If Ryan wants to be Ghost Rider, Gosling’s unbelievable … Ryan’s amazing. I’d love to find a place for him in the MCU. He’s dressed up as Ken on Venice beach and he gets more press than giant movies coming out that weekend, it’s amazing."

It's worth noting that Gosling is rumored to be on Feige's radar for quite some time now and with his latest remark, it looks like the Barbie star is one step closer to fulfilling his MCU dreams. I mean, getting a stamp of approval from Kevin Feige himself is something. I guess we'll just have to wait until it becomes official.
Meanwhile, Ryan Gosling's latest film The Gray Man is streaming on Netflix.
