Kevin Feige Could Reboot Marvel TV Characters In The MCU

There is little doubt that Kevin Feige has big plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe now that he has been announced as the Chief Creative Officer at Marvel Studios. But could his plans actually involve the Marvel TV shows that are still ongoing or have been cancelled? A new report reveals that Feige might be planning to reboot the characters from the Netflix shows in the MCU.

The report comes from We Got This Covered, which cites several sources confirming that Feige still wants to bring back most of the main cast of the Marvel Netflix shows for future projects. Interestingly, it was revealed that Feige still intends to bring back Charlie Cox as Daredevil as well as Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. However, it was not yet confirmed whether the characters will be brought to the big screen or if their shows will continue on TV or a streaming platform.

This is welcome news for everyone who has been hoping to save Daredevil as well as the other Marvel Netflix shows that were cancelled last year. After all, Daredevil concluded with a tease on Benjamin Poindexter getting surgery to fix his spine and hopefully embracing his Bullseye persona, which is something we are all looking forward to. On the other hand, it is important to point out that the news has not yet been confirmed. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Netflix and Marvel cancelled Iron Fist and Luke Cage in October last year while Daredevil was cancelled in November. The streaming platform then confirmed that both Jessica Jones Season 3 and The Punisher Season 2 would be the final seasons for both shows.
