Avengers: Endgame was the fitting conclusion to the Infinity saga which was pretty much established in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger but if you thought the billion-dollar film marked the end of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes' journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you got it all wrong.

The general belief amongst fans is that Endgame served as Marvel Studios' final Avengers film and understandably so considering some of the original members of the superteam like Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow are gone. That's not to say though that the unit won't cease to exist in the MCU moving forward and even though the characters are busy doing their own thing across the realms, Kevin Feige confirmed that another team-up film is in the MCU's future.

Speaking with IGN regarding the possibility of doing an Avengers 5 film, Feige said: "I would have to think so. I would have to say yes, at some point. It's a good title. Could use that." The Marvel Studios President also shared a promising update regarding the MCU status of the Defenders and by the looks of things, another superhero team could be joining the fold as we usher in Phase 4. Oh, did I mention the Fantastic Four and the X-Men?

This news sounds extremely exciting but don't expect to see it go down anytime soon as the studio's plate is pretty full for Phase 4. I gotta say, it'll be interesting to see how the new Avengers will differ from its predecessor. Who do you think will lead the group now that the likes of Tony Stark and Steve Rogers are gone? Could seeds be planted for a second Civil War event? Who are they going up against? A lot of questions are set to be answered.

The MCU's fourth phase kicks off with WandaVision.
