Kevin Conroy Thinks Batfleck Is The Best Onscreen Batman

Kevin Conroy's version of Batman is undoubtedly one of the most solid incarnations of the character, and everyone has loved him from Batman the Animated Series to the Arkham Asylum games. Of course, Ben Affleck is the current onscreen version of the Dark Knight, and Conroy thinks that the Batfleck is the best Batman we've had so far.

Speaking to CBR, Conroy explains that Affleck nails it right by being a good Bruce Wayne and Batman. He explains:

"I think some of them get Bruce Wayne more than they get Batman, and some of them get Batman more than they get Bruce Wayne. I think Ben Affleck has probably gotten the best balance of the two. He's a really good Bruce Wayne and a really good Batman."

He also doesn't undermine the other actors who have played Batman, and says there's actually a benefit to having different actors play the character over time.

"You know, I thought it was weird when Warner Bros. didn't give the franchise to one actor when the first started doing the films. You just assumed they were going to cast a Batman and he was going to carry the whole franchise. But then when I saw the different ones — Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer, [George Clooney], and Christian Bale — all the different takes, this was really smart, because each actor does it so differently. And I love seeing all the different takes."

Personally, I also think that Affleck has the upper hand from all the actors by being a true fan of the source material. Though BvS and Suicide Squad were not as well-received, a lot of fans have agreed that Affleck's Batman is on-point, and it's the most comic-accurate version of the character we've seen onscreen.

Whether it be the Conroy Batman or the Adam West Batman, fans can love what they love, and the way things go, we may have to look at a new Batman after Affleck's run in the DCEU. I just hope we get Terry McGinnis.

Batfleck returns in Justice League which hits theaters Nov. 17.
