Keanu Reeves Looks Badass as Kraven the Hunter in Spectacular Image

I think it's safe to say that a lot of us have been waiting to see Keanu Reeves join the Marvel Universe for quite some time now. The John Wick actor, who is already no stranger to taking on comic book roles has long been rumored to be a part of Marvel Studios' billion-dollar franchise but no confirmation has been made by the studio and the actor himself.

Earlier this week, the internet seemingly exploded when it was reported that Sony Pictures is eyeing the Hollywood icon to play a role in their Kraven the Hunter spinoff film. It wasn't specified which character the actor would play but fans were quick to assume that he's indeed portraying arguably Spider-Man's most ruthless villain Sergei Nikolaevich Kravinoff.

Long-time Marvel followers are well-aware that Kraven is a pretty imposing figure and he's quite massive (physically speaking) in the comics. Now, while we mean no offense to Keanu, let's be real, nothing about him screams "Kraven" at all but then again, a little workout and training would definitely do the trick.

But in case you were wondering how the actor would look like as a less-muscular Kraven, digital artist The Imaginative Hobbyist recently unveiled his spectacular artwork depicting Reeves as a more badass version of the iconic Spidey villain. It almost seems like a cross between Kraven and John Wick and I gotta say, it just might work. Check it out here:

Sony's Kraven film and their entire Spidey film franchise for that matter are still shrouded by mystery at this point and although the film outfit has an ongoing working relationship with Marvel Studios, which allows Spider-Man to appear in the MCU, it doesn't look like Sony would be willing to share some of their characters which is why the possibility of villains like Morbius, Venom, and Carnage appearing in Earth-616 still seems unlikely.

Other details about Kraven the Hunter are still being kept under wraps.
