Kate Middleton Hints at Her Coronation Outfit

The Princess of Wales talked to ITV host Alison Hammond about the upcoming coronation during her trip to Birmingham, England, with her husband, Prince William.

The This Morning presenter couldn't stop herself from asking the future queen consort about what she planned to wear to the crowning.

"I said to her, 'I'm feeling like you're gonna wear blue,'" Hammond told the Duchess of Cornwall, in a clip shared by the British radio network Heart. "She was like, 'There is a hint of blue.' So I was like, 'Fantastic!'

Kate Middleton Has Shown Love for Blue Outfits

Fans have noticed Kate's love for blue outfits. She has often opted for this hue in her 12 years as a working senior royal family member.

Though nobody knows the reason behind her love of blue, the royal family has been associated with this color for a long time.

Blue represents "power, serenity, and stability," perfectly describing the monarchy, per Page Six.

Kate even donned a blue outfit on Easter Sunday, coordinating it with Prince William and their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Will Kate Middleton Wear Tiara at the Coronation?

Another question fans have is if Kate will wear a tiara at the coronation. Surely, King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort, will wear crowns, though it remains to be seen if other royal family members opt for their own headpieces, too.

However, royal watchers strongly believe Kate will wear a tiara, though People claims it's also possible that she will break the tradition and don a more casual topper instead.

There are no words yet on what headpiece she will opt for, but she has been wearing only three different tiaras since marrying the Prince of Wales in 2011.

Lastly, the third tiara she frequently wears is the Lotus Flower Tiara.

By the looks of it, fans have to wait and see what tiara, if there's any, Kate will wear at King Charles' coronation.
