Prince William and Kate Middleton are the future kings and queen consort of Britain.
They have already been preparing for their important role as early as now. In fact, when Prince William was much younger, he learned the tricks of the trade from Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. And he is most likely guiding his wife for her key role.
But before Prince William ascends the throne, he would first serve as an heir. And Middleton will continue to stand by his side and support him. Prince William, Kate Middleton Announce Royal Tour
According to reports, Prince William and Middleton will be going on the first joint tour since the pandemic started two years ago. And their trip to three countries will also pave the way for the couple to commemorate the queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
“We are so excited to visit Belize, Jamaica, and The Bahamas next month as we mark The Queen's Platinum Jubilee. We can't wait to meet people in all three countries, celebrate local cultures, and understand more about innovative work being done across communities,” Prince William and Middleton tweeted.
Their spokesperson also released a statement about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s upcoming trip.
“Throughout their visit, the Duke and Duchess will take the opportunity to commemorate Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee. Their program will also touch on a number of themes that are close to Their Royal Highnesses' hearts and a key focus of their work with The Royal Foundation, including The Earthshot Prize, mental health, and the importance of early childhood to lifelong outcomes,” the statement read.
Prince William, Kate Middleton Focused On Supporting Queen Elizabeth
Even before the queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Prince William and Middleton have already been supporting the queen in whatever way that they can.
While speaking with Us Weekly, royal expert Nick Bullen said that Prince William and Prince Harry’s falling out must have encouraged the former to focus more on helping his grandmother. After all, the monarch is not getting any younger.
“I think the depths of the sadness and split between the two brothers is incredibly deep and incredibly raw, and I think it’s going to take a lot to get the two of them back together. I think at the moment William and Kate are focusing on their work, focusing on the children, focusing on supporting the queen. I don’t know, but I don’t think they spend a lot of time thinking about the Harry and Meghan situation,” he said.

Prince William, Kate Middleton’s Role During Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee
Bullen also made a prediction during his interview from September 2021. He said that in the next 12 months, Prince William and Middleton will be very much about supporting Her Majesty.
“Next year is the queen’s Platinum Jubilee year. All the members of the royal family are very aware of the fact that it’s her year. They’re going to support her, you know, the headlines shouldn’t be about them. The headlines next year should be about the queen in her 70th year [of ruling]. So I think you will see Kate and William really stepping up to support the queen over the next 12 months,” he said.
Additionally, Prince William and Middleton will also focus on their joint initiatives like The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. But their efforts on their initiatives will be nothing compared to what they would do for the monarch.
So far, Bullen has not been wrong when it comes to his prediction. Prince William and Middleton have been very supportive of the queen. And they also had her back when she suffered recent health scares including testing positive for COVID-19 last month.
