Kate Middleton won the hearts of netizens with her recent sighting with a 3-year-old boy. Several even called her the "Children's Princess" because she knows very well how to interact with the little ones.

Kate Middleton Had A Sweet Encounter With A 3-Year-Old Boy

Prince William's wife visited Colham Manor Children's Centre Wednesday. During her visit, she had a sweet encounter with a 3-year-old boy named Akeem, who asked her name and showed a keen interest in the poppy pin she was wearing.

The Princess of Wales knelt down to be at Akeen's eye level. "My name is Catherine," she said when the toddler asked for her name, 7News.com.au.

She also offered to give her poppy pin to Akeen and even explained what it was for.

"Do you know what this is for?" Middleton asked him. "It's for remembering all the soldiers who died in the war. There you go, that's for you."

Netizens Reportedly Call Kate Middleton The Children's Princess

Reporter Rhiannon Mills shared footage of the adorable encounter on Twitter. Shortly after, the hashtag #ChildrensPrincess began trending, 7News.com.au.

"Just a reminder of the walk she walks. effortlessly. & the joy she spreads no matter where she is & the importance of looking after the future; the kids. (& an update of titles) #PrincessofWales #catherinethegreat #KateTheGreat #ChildrensPrincess #CatherinePrincessofWales," one tweeted along with photos of Middleton with various children from her previous engagements.
