It's official: The Boys Season 2 is coming and Karl Urban has just finished filming his scenes for the highly anticipated series. The Star Trek actor teased on the show's upcoming return on Amazon with an awesome behind-the-scenes photo with his co-stars.
Urban shared the picture on his official Instagram account and it features his The Boys Season 2 co-stars Laz Alonso and Erin Moriarty. Check it out below.
"Cut and print! That's a wrap for Billy Butcher on season 2 of @theboystv. Massive thanks to our awesome Crew n cast, love you all," Urban wrote. He added, "The Boys 2 On yer telle Mid 2020," along with the hashtag #gonefishing.
It's good to know that Urban has already completed work on The Boys Season 2 although his early wrap has some fans concerned that this could be bad news for Billy Butcher. After all, Butcher was last seen being brought by Homelander to the secret home of Butcher's wife Becca and her son. The superhero might up to no good with the surprising act. Nevertheless, there is a possibility that Butcher will survive until the end of the second season.
The premise of The Boys Season 2 is still a mystery but some believe that Hughie and the others will be looking for Butcher. In addition to that, there could be some trouble for Starlight now that it has been revealed that she is working with the men. Needless to say, the second season is going to be awesome and we can't wait to see it.
The Boys Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to air on Amazon in mid 2020.
