Karl Urban Claps Back at Warcraft Director Over Judge Dredd Feud

It's hard to imagine anybody else other than Karl Urban playing Judge Dredd after his amazing performance in the 2012 film. However, it looks like Duncan Jones has a completely different actor in mind who could take on the role in the spin-off series Mega-City One. Interestingly, Urban isn't happy about that and has hilariously clapped back at the Moon director in an epic Twitter feud.

It all started when Jones decided to tweet about casting Josh Brolin as Judge Dredd. The filmmaker even wrote, "Fight me" in his post which Urban may have viewed as an invitation for a debate. With that in mind, the star of The Boys decided to troll Jones. Take a look at his tweet below.

Of course, Jones clarified that "By 'fight me,' I obviously meant let's discuss in a friendly & good-humored manner... @KarlUrban." Not surprisingly, the Warcraft Rotten Tomatoes score clap back was enough for the director to admit defeat.

It's no secret that Urban has been campaigning to continue playing Dredd if the opportunity arose, even admitting that he is looking forward to being contacted to appear on Mega-City One. For now, it is still unclear if he will appear in the spin-off show. However, we are crossing our fingers and hoping it will be announced soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Urban is set to reprise his role as Billy Butcher in The Boys Season 2, which will premiere on Amazon Prime on September 4.
