Karen Gillan Shares Somber Image of Nebula for Avengers 4

With Avengers 4 coming out next year, fans have started feeling nostalgic over the MCU and some of its characters. This series of movies has revolutionized film and how they are now marketed, for better or worse. Now everyone is trying to make their own cinematic universe, regardless if these characters can mesh together or not but for now, let's just remember how Marvel did it successfully.

It seems like fans aren't the only ones appreciating what they have as Karen Gillan has shared an oddly somber picture of Nebula, who survived the snap from Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Rather than get a blade ready or screaming into combat, the robotic daughter of Thanos is kneeling for some reason. Some of us think it's to pay respect to those who fell after the snap, which seems likely.

Nebula has been around since Guardians of the Galaxy and got a ton of characterization during Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, where she revealed that she was physically abused by Thanos everytime she lost to Gamora. She actually let Gamora win a few times because she loved her so much bit was upset that her sister wouldn't do the same for her, resulting in the android-like character we see today.

Fans are hoping that Nebula gets her revenge on Thanos in Avengers 4, even if it means that she loses her life. We're also hoping to see Thor take it to the Mad Titan as well since he did kill half of the Asgardians. Basically, we want to see Thanos die since he has already achieved his dream.

Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
