Kang Ha Neul is off a great star in his current K-drama, Insider.
Kang Ha Neul’s Insider is a 2022 action-suspense drama about a judicial trainee whose life changes instantly while investigating a corrupt prosecutor. After his arrest, he plots revenge for the betrayal he went through as an undercover.
The actor plays the role of Kim Yo Han and works alongside his co-stars: Lee Yoo Young, Heo Sung Tae, Kim Sang Ho, Yoon Byung Hee, Kang Young Seok, Sung Ji Ru, and Jung Man Sik, to name a few.
Before the K-drama’s premiere, director Min Yeon Hong gave an insight into the drama and why Kang Ha Neul is the only actor who can play the lead role.

Kang Ha Neul Fits Complex Genre K-drama Insider
Ahead of its release, the Insider showrunner recently shared his thoughts about choosing Kang ha Neul to play the lead role.
Per the director, the series is seemingly made for the Midnight Runners star.
“This work cannot exist without Kang Ha-neul. Every moment was filled with actor Kang Ha-neul’s performance,” director Min Yeon Hong said.

Indeed, Kang Ha Neul already learned everything about his character and applied a powerful transformation in him to tell the senior judicial trainee’s painful fate and terrible stories.
According to the actor, he spent a long time thinking about how he could make the viewers could enjoy the drama. As he read the script, he reportedly realized that he should show his amazing acting skills rather than try a different method.
Insider Cast Members Express Excitement To Show K-drama Series
While the release date nears, the central cast members told the viewers to look forward to the new drama.
Kang Ha Neul gave fans a hint, saying that it would be a drama everyone could enjoy.
Lee Yoo Young, meanwhile, said that Insider would be full of thrill, action, and fun.
“I’m nervous and looking forward to reuniting with the audience in a drama after a long time. I met a new character and tried hard as much as it was difficult. Please look forward to it,” the cast member added.
Meanwhile, Squid Game actor Heo Sung Tae told everyone to focus on Kim Yo Han’s surroundings to enjoy the K-drama.
Insider will premiere on June 8.
