Kang Daniel is taking the US TV industry by storm.
After his successful stint as a soloist and member of the project group, WANNA ONE, Kang Daniel expanded his career outside South Korea and officially marked his TV debut.
He visited The Kelly Clarkson Show on June 16 and offered an epic performance of Parade. The show’s host, Kelly Clarkson, showered him with compliments as she eyes him to become one of the most successful solo K-pop artists to date.
Kang Daniel immediately proved Kelly Clarkson’s statement by securing a huge deal with a popular animation show.

Kang Daniel Secures Project With SpongeBob SquarePants
The K-pop star’s agency, KONNECT Entertainment, confirmed on June 23 that the Antidote hitmaker would collaborate with SpongeBob SquarePants for its upcoming global project.
The agency closed the deal with Paramount Global to produce a character for Kang Daniel. The partnership will also give way to several collaboration merchandises.

In a photo shared on Star News Korea, it can be seen that the idol already has a character based on his appearance and style. He poses in the poster alongside the popular characters, SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star.
“I’m really happy to announce the collaboration between SpongeBob and Kang Daniel. Like SpongeBob, Kang Daniel is popular all over the world and receives much love, so I am sure that this collaboration will be greatly popular,” a representative for Paramount Global said.

Aside from international deals, Kang Daniel also continues to have a fruitful career in South Korea.
Starship Entertainment recently released a video of the two K-pop idols alongside the Olympic champion in the music video for Move Like This. The song is part of the 2022 Gatorade Campaign.
The trio worked together in the clip to share a hopeful message to their fans and listeners, giving them advice on how to make dreams come true.
