Speaking recently with Somos Geeks, Kang The Conqueror’s Jonathan Majors teased potential members of the Avengers’ next roster as he answered the question of who he was looking forward to sharing the screen with as they battled on screen.

“Yeah, I think this new class of Avengers is quite impressive, you know? Letitia Wright, Florence Pugh, I mean, just to name a few. I mean, these actresses are the avant-garde of their generation, in the MCU and outside of it.” he said.

Wright made her MCU debut as Shuri, the younger sister of T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), in Black Panther, later reprising the role in Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).

In 2020, the Black Panther star made a remark that it’s only a matter of time before Marvel introduced its all-female Avengers. “I don’t think we have to fight for it,” she said. “Victoria Alonso is very strong about spearheading it, alongside Kevin. It’s only a matter of time before they do it.”

Meanwhile, Pugh's Yelena Belova has been one of the MCU’s newcomers after appearing in Black Widow (2021) and Hawkeye (2021). With her presence a big deal right now, the Don’t Worry Darling star is set to extend her MCU stay as she is about to star in Marvel’s upcoming Thunderbolts.
