Today, Wizards of the Coast has revealed the new Magic: The Gathering mechanics that will be featured in the upcoming Norse mythology-inspired set, Kaldheim. In addition to the new mechanics like Foretell, Boast, and Runes, Kaldheim will also bring back Saga, Vehicles, and Snow mechanic.
Today's Kaldheim Fest stream on Twitch.tv/magic has revealed new cards from the upcoming set, and some of them reveal the returning mechanics, including ten common Snow dual lands: Apine Meadow (Red & White mana), Arctic Treeline (Green & White), Glacial Floodplain (Blue & White), Hihgland Forest (Red & Green), Ice Tunnel (Blue & Black), Rimewood Falls (Green & Blue), Snowfield Sinkhole (Black & White), Sulfurous Mire (Red & Black), Volatile Fjord (Red & Blue), and Woodland Chasm (Black & Green). Check them out:
Snow-covered basic lands are also returning, but the Kaldheim versions will feature new frames.

Since the set is inspired the cold world of the Vikings, fans are already expecting the return of the Snow mechanic in Kaldheim before it was officially revealed. We've already seen some of the leaked cards that feature the Snow mechanic. Some spells in Kaldheim will give bonuses for spending snow mana to cast the spell, so expect more snow cards to be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
In addition to these new snow lands, Wizards also revealed two new Planeswalker cards from Kaldheim: Niko Aris and Tibalt.
