Crossing Time Creator’s Erotic Manga Kakushite! Makina-san Gets Anime Adaptation
Kakushite! Makina-san is an upcoming ecchi, romance, and comedy anime based on the risqué manga series by none other than Yoshimi Sato, the same Japanese mangaka behind the slice-of-life and comedy manga series, Crossing Time and With Liz.
Yoshimi Sato has been working on this ecchi risqué manga series since October 2022, having released three tankobon volumes so far.
It was first serialized on Futabasha’s seinen manga magazine, Monthly Action, before moving to the Web Comic Action website in April 2022.
At the moment, no English publishing company has licensed the series, so don’t expect to read Kakushite! Makina-san in English anytime soon.
This is not the first time that Yoshimi Sato’s manga has inspired an anime series.
Back in 2018, an under-the-radar anime studio called EKACHI EPILKA released 12 short episodes running for three minutes each for Yoshimi Sato’s Fumikiri Jikan (Crossing Time) anime adaptation.

What happens when an introverted otaku begins to live together with the school’s most popular girl?
In Kakushite! Makina-san, the introverted high school student and mechanical otaku named Eita Akutsu, gets a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get closer to the school idol, Makina Agatsuma, when she decides to move into his house.
It is a dream come true for Eita to become housemates with Makina since he has had a huge crush on her for so long—that is until he discovers her real identity!
As it turns out, Makina is a sex robot, a “sexaroid” created for sexual purposes and designed for pleasure.
She revealed her true nature to Eita in the hopes that he would be able to conduct some repairs to her body parts discreetly.
As the plot unfolds, the virgin Eita is at a loss due to Makina’s physical advances, not to mention a frenzy trying to keep her secret from being exposed.
Kakushite! Makina-san Anime Reveals Release Window
In addition to the provocative teaser visual, the upcoming Kakushite! Makina-san anime also confirmed its release window.
Kakushite! Makina-san is confirmed to be released in 2025, but there’s no word yet on its exact premiere date, as well as the cast, staff, and studio that will work on the series.
An official website and X account for the upcoming anime have also been created.
