Iino and Ishigami finally talk, and Ishigami, who is reminded that he can't mourn his failed romance forever, asks her to go to the dance with him since neither of them has a date. It's not the most romantic of requests, but it does make Iino happy, and it seems that their relationship might finally become official if the dance gives them an opportunity to talk about their feelings.
