Justice League: Which Female Superheroes The Cast Wants To See Next

Wonder Woman was a big hit for DC Entertainment, but Gal Gadot will be the only female joining the ranks of the Justice League later next week. Even the cast members themselves felt that they needed more women in the team, and they reveal who they want to be introduced in the franchise next.

Talking to MTV, each of the members talked about which women heroes they wanted to be members of the League in Justice League 2. Ben Affleck says that he wants Black Canary to join the ranks because the team "could use more women." Henry Cavill wanted Supergirl for the same reasons, but also so that Superman can have "a bit of family." Ray Fisher wanted Zatanna to be introduced, and Ezra Miller wanted a female Green Lantern.

With the next woman-led DCEU movie being Joss Whedon's Batgirl, I have a feeling that Barbara Gordon will be the one joining the ranks of the League. Let's just hope they keep her as Batgirl for a while before they decide to Killing Joke her storyline and turn her into the Oracle.

Personally, I wanted to see the Green Lantern Arisia to make an appearance or maybe even Hawkgirl. I love Wonder Woman, but boy does the League need some more femmes in their ranks. Keep the diversity ball rolling, DC!

Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17.
