There is little doubt that people are excited about the planned Superman reboot that will reportedly cast a black actor to play the Man of Steel. However, Ray Fisher isn't particularly impressed about this and has once again fired shots at Walter Hamada. Interestingly, the tweets didn't go unnoticed as the investigator looking into the Justice League reshoots has issued a statement defending the DC Film president.
Fisher recently tweeted about the new Superman reboot where he pointed out that a Black Superman is unlikely considering that Hamada previously attempted to "destroy a Black man's credibility."
Almost immediately, investigator and former federal judge Katherine B. Forrest issued a statement as part of WarnerMedia's own statement on the issue.
"I am disappointed by continued public statements made suggesting that Walter Hamada in any way interfered with the Justice League investigation. He did not," Forrest said in her statement.
Fisher once again refused to back down and tweeted out a rebuttal. He even pointed out that making Forrest release a statement denying Hamada's interference was "purposely misleading and desperate."
It certainly looks like the investigation will have to continue with Fisher insisting that Hamada was involved in his allegations. Hopefully, the truth will be revealed soon.
Fisher had previously alleged that Joss Whedon and the Justice League producers were unprofessional while working on the reshoots. He also pointed out that Hamada had tried to interfere with the resulting investigation into the matter.
Fisher has since been removed from the upcoming The Flash movie. Nevertheless, the actor continues to speak up about the case.
Although he isn't in the upcoming DCEU flicks, Fisher returns in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which premieres on HBO Max and various streaming services worldwide on March 18.
