Justice League Gear Coming To Injustice 2

Justice League gear is coming to Injustice 2 and fans everywhere are excited to get them when they come out. Fans had previously spotted some of the gear via the game's Tournament Mode, but NetherRealms made things official with a Facebook post confirming that they would be out soon. Oddly enough, only four of the Justice League members are shown in the post - Batman, Cyborg, Flash, and Wonder Woman - with Aquaman not shown, even though the character will be getting movie gear as well.

While it's only a small glimpse, it is awesome seeing the Night Owl-like goggles on Batman, Cyborg's DCEU armor, and the new look for Flash. Wonder Woman will also be getting new gear, even though her costume doesn't look too different from her solo movie, which is already available in the game. This could be an indication that the event will return for those that weren't able to play it the first time, but that remains to be seen.

Aquaman not appearing in the post is an odd choice, though his in-game appearance is probably why he wasn't shown. In the game, Aquaman resembles his classic look more than Jason Mamoa, sporting short blonde hair and a beardless face. Since the game unlocks gear, fans shouldn't expect a long-haired look for the Atlantean, though his armor from the film will likely make it in the game.

On a personal note, it will be great using the Justice League gear for The Flash. No offense to the hard-working developers in NetherRealm Studios, but Barry Allen has some of the ugliest gear in the game.

Injustice 2 is available now on PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC version coming out next week on November 14. No release date for the Justice League gear has been announced, though it will likely coincide with the film's release next week, on November 17.
