Jupiter's Legacy Season 2 Reportedly in Development

It has only been a few days since the premiere of Jupiter's Legacy but it looks like Mark Millar is already looking towards the future. The creator of the comic book series revealed that Season 2 is already in the works. In addition to that, the second season could be announced very soon.

Millar recently spoke to Comicbook.com about the future of Jupiter's Legacy and it's no surprise that he confirmed he and the creative team are already planning out Season 2.

"We know where we're going," Millar said, adding that "the books are a good template." He then pointed out that he believes the fans will be the ones to decide whether a second season is in order.

"You know, the books are all sitting there for us so ... we have a very rough plan, but we know it all depends on hopefully, not to get too cocky, that the audience responds the way we think they will, but we feel good about it," Millar said. "Like we feel as if people are going to like this; the response so far has been amazing. So we really feel this has got a lot of likes, I think."

There is little doubt that Millar is already confident about the show's potential. Nevertheless, he was quick to point out that Netflix has not yet made an official announcement about its renewal.

"So, yeah, we do. I mean, we talk privately all the time about what we'd like to do but nothing can be formal until we get our numbers," Millar concluded.

For now, Netflix has not yet renewed Jupiter's Legacy for Season 2. Nevertheless, fans can expect that there will be no shortage of content to adapt considering that the comics are filled with awesome story arcs.

Jupiter's Legacy is now streaming on Netflix.
