Jung In Sun, for the first time in her career, scored two roles in one flick.

Since 1995, Jung In Sun has already appeared in several films, TV, and web series. As an established actress, she indeed became in-demand in the industry that her name appeared in more than 20 credits in the past years.

Among her hit projects include KakaoTV’s How to Be ThirtyBaek Jong-won’s Alley Restaurant, My Secret Terrius, Welcome to Waikiki, and Psychopath Diary, among others.

Last year, she landed the lead role in SBS’ Let Me Be Your Knight and even scored the chance to play her character’s twin sister.

Jung In Sun Accepts the Challenge in Let Me Be Your Knight

Jung In Sun plays the role of In Yoon Joo and her sister, Kang Sun Joo. Her lead character pretends to be the doctor of the popular idol band, LUNA and moves into their dorm to treat the member who suffers from sleepwalking.

The series stars Lee Jun Young, JR, Kim Dong Hyun, Yoon Ji Sung, and Jang Dong Joo.

Because Jung In Sun needs to play two roles in one series, she reportedly found the project challenging. Still, she memorized her character well to compare herself to them.

She said, “I created In Yoon Joo’s character in my head first since she’s the main character. Yoon Joo is a diverse character and you don’t know what she’s going to do next. I started to realize that Yoon Joo and Sun Joo seemed too similar in the beginning so I asked the director for help.”

The actress called Yoon Joo a quite nosy person. However, she also sees her as a warm person who lives as a highly optimistic person. With that, she reportedly asked herself if she could also deliver the same warmth to the viewers.

But amid all doubts, she finally got the chance to be close to her character.

In addition, while she felt like she was lacking in energy while filming, the actress reportedly received great help from the members who energized her.

Jung In Sun Wants to Do More Prominent Roles

Elsewhere in the interview, she opened up about trying new roles before Let Me Be Your Knight.

According to Jung In Sun, she had been attempting to portray characters with different styles and concepts. Fortunately, her current flick allowed her to see things positively.

She detailed how, like her character, she used to restrain herself in the past. But one day, she learned how to express herself and try new things.

Jung In Sun will show more of herself in the next episodes of Let Me Be Your Knight. The series airs every Sunday, 11:05 p.m KST.
