“A person’s good will can oftentimes lead to unintended catastrophe simply because of differences in perspective. My intention is to cinematically capture that phenomenon in an unprecedented way,” Na Hong Jin said.

Per the publications, Jung Ho Yeon will play the role of Sung-ae, a police officer in the series alongside Hwang Jung Min’s Bum Seok.

Zo In Sung, meanwhile, will play a hunter named Sungki.

The filming for the movie will reportedly start this year, per Plus M Entertainment.

Jung Ho Yeon Earns More Recognition

From being a model to growing to become an instant A-list actress, Jung Ho Yeon has been savoring recognition in the past years since starring in Squid Game.

One of his most recent achievements includes making it to TIME Magazine’s 100 Next.

TIME created the list in 2019 to recognize 100 rising stars in different industries like entertainment, science, health, politics, and sports, among others.

“I often joke around and call her a ‘warrior.’ There’s no doubt that she has the skill and courage to fight her numerous battles. And I hope her acting career can become a true resting area, not her battleground,” Squid Game director Hwang Dong Hyuk said of the actress’ feat.

Jung Ho Yeon was the only Korean star to appear on the list.
