Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Sequel Gets First Poster

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was one of last year's biggest surprises, with many shocked at how entertaining the all-ages film was. It ended up making a ton of money and was immediately greenlit for a sequel, with a number of the cast members returning, including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The poster of the unnamed sequel was shown off at the LIMA International Licensing Expo (via ComicBook.com). Oddly enough, it doesn't have a name yet, though it did have silhouettes of the video game characters played by Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, and the rest of the cast.

It does state that the next chapter of the film will be coming into theaters, which is something I suppose. Considering the lack of information released about the sequel, there is only so much that can be said about the film's possibilities. Still, now that we know it's coming, here is hoping that the film manages to be funny and creative.

Welcome to the Jungle is technically the second film in the Jumanji franchise. The first film was released back in 1995 and focused on a board game that brought a jungle into the city. In the second movie, some kids find a video game and are transported into an alternate world in different bodies.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is now available on digital and Blu-Ray. The sequel is expected to come out sometime in 2019.
