Jujutsu Kaisen Song 'Lost In Paradise' Returns On Spotify


Following the return of the Japanese rock band Ali Liberty International (ALI) from hiatus, their songs are now back on the popular music streaming platform Spotify this includes the catchy ending music theme song for the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, ‘Lost in Paradise’. Aside from Jujutsu Kaisen, ALI has also performed theme songs for other popular anime such as Noblesse and BEASTARS. The band debuted in 2019 with their single titled ‘Wild Side’ which was used as the opening theme song for BEASTARS Season 1.

The group announced their return from hiatus recently via their official website. The band announced their indefinite hiatus in May following the arrest of their band’s drummer Kahadio. Kahadio was arrested by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department on April 4 due to alleged special fraud charges. Reports said that he received cash from ATMs as part of a “refund scam.”

The arrest has affected the band’s song performances in anime projects. Their song ‘TEENAGE CITY RIOT’ was supposed to be used for the opening theme song for The World Ends With You the Animation but was changed immediately.

The ending theme song Lost in Paradise is a favorite among fans due to its catchy and jazzy tune. The anime adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen premiered in October 2020 in a total of 24 episodes. The show is also available for streaming in North America and other regions. Japanese manga publisher Shueisha announced this week that the upcoming release of the 18th volume of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga will reach 60 million copies in circulation. The count also includes digital downloads as well as copies that have not been sold.

Since the anime’s premiere in October 2020, sales and circulation of the manga skyrocket to 710%. The manga reached a milestone of 55 million copies in circulation as of September 27, 2021.

The upcoming anime film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on December 24.
