With things heating up in the Hidden Inventory arc, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 released a new visual that features Yuji, Megumi, and company, hyping up the long-awaited adaptation of the Shibuya Incident.

The new visual was shared on an official Jujutsu Kaisen page, and it shows Yuji and his fellow Jujutsu High students gearing up to fight.

This is exactly what they will do in the explosive Shibuya Incident arc, though fans will have to wait a bit longer before it releases.

The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen started with a flashback to Gojo’s past via the Hidden Inventory arc.

Because of this, most of the promotion for the second season centered around the younger Gojo and Geto.

Now though, with the Hidden Inventory arc down to its last two episodes, the anime is starting to hype up the Shibuya Incident.

However, fans won’t immediately get to watch it after the ongoing arc.

This is because it was announced that Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will go on a weeks-long hiatus following the end of Episode 5 to give the studio more time to work on the next arc.

While it’s unfortunate that fans will need to wait a bit longer, most accepted this given the level of animation that has been delivered in the first three episodes.

Plus, given how important the events of the Shibuya Incident are, it’s essential that MAPPA pulls out all the stops when it comes to animating the arc’s big fights.

Manga readers already know that the Shibuya Incident is a huge game-changer in the story, especially as it features practically all the big players in the story during its time.

Though the upcoming fights haven’t been teased yet, the new visual for the anime shows Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, Panda, Maki, and Toge getting ready to fight.

This is only the second visual that does not feature the younger Gojo and Geto. And given the upcoming break, we’ll likely see more of these in the near future.

As a bonus, this visual isn’t just available online as the tweet also revealed that it will be available for viewing in Tokyo, Osaka, and Shiga in Japan.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is now streaming on Crunchyroll in the US and other selected regions.
