The Death Painting arc was the last arc that was adapted in the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen. In this arc, Yuji Itadori joins Nobara Kugisaki and Megumi Fushiguro as they investigate a series of strange curse related murders that lead them back to Fushiguro's middle school and into an encounter with two of the Death Paintings Eso and Kechizu.

The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen concluded with Itadori and Kugisaki killing Eso and Kechizu and the season finale pretty much adapted most of the Death Painting story arc. However, there is one part of the arc's final chapter that hasn't been featured in the anime yet.

The important parts of the Death Painting story arc have already appeared in the anime's first season finale. However, we have yet to meet a new character who was introduced in the manga in the arc's final chapter. In the manga, Kugisaki meets Yuko Ozawa who was Itadori's classmate in junior high. After learning that Ozawa has a crush on Itadori, Kugisaki works with Fushiguro to set the two on a date.

It might not be an important part of the ongoing story but it's a refreshing break from all the fighting. But will we see this part of the arc in the anime? There's a huge chance that Ozawa's bit will no longer be featured in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 as the anime moves forward with the next story arc. However, it could show up in a Jujutsu Stroll which usually follows the credits in each episode.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. However, the anime is already expected to return in Winter 2023.
